Overview of Tanzania
Tanzania is located on the south of  Kenya, Located in East Africa Tanzania "The land of Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar" which shares with Kenya one  of the greatest natural wonders of the world, the migration routes of millions of wild animals, principally wildebeest and zebra.Trip to Africa could well become the holiday of a lifetime, particularly if the itinerary combines the country with neighboring destination or other African gems. They move across seemingly endless plains that, in Kenya, from Masai Mara National Park and Tanzania, the Serengeti. Tanzania is most famous for the vast Serengeti National Park, stretching out over almost 14,000 sq. Kms. Next to Serengeti is Ngorongoro Crater, a world heritage site. These vast parks with their prolific wildlife and annual wildebeest migration need no introduction, and will etch themselves onto your memory and stay with you for the rest of your life. Other on top of list include Mt Kilimanjaro for a trek, it is the highest mountain in Africa. You can get this far without attempt on the snowcapped summit of Mawenzi. Or immense yourself in romantic, narrow streets of East Africa's most substantial and famous city state- Zanzibar "the spice capital of Africa" and the place through which many European  explorer passed way into the interior in the 19th Century. It's all still there, mostly intact, including the palaces of the sultans and lanteen-sailed dhows still drift silently along the waterfront in the settling sun.

NORTHERN TANZANIA GREAT NATIONAL PARKS
Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area- Olduvai Gorge: Located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the Olduvai Gorge, 180 km from Arusha, It was here that Dr Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo hablis, or "Handy Man". But many more fossils have been discovered here including those of prehistoric Elephant, giant horned sheep and enormous Ostriches. 

Lake Manyara National Park
Two famous spectacles in Lake Manyara National Park are the tree-climbing Lions, which spend most of the day spread out along branches of Acacia trees six to seven metres above the ground, and tree-climbing Pythons. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment the park is noted for its incredible beauty. As visitors enter the gate they pass into lush forest, home to troops of Baboons and Blue Monkeys. Further along the forest opens up into woodlands, grassland, swamps and beyond the soda lake itself, covering 390 sq km and sanctuary to over 400 species of bird including Flamingo, Pelican, Storks, Scared Ibis, Cormorants and Egyptian Gueese. The park is particular noted for its huge herds of Buffalo, and Elephant. Also Giraffe, Impala, Hippo and a great variety of smaller animals.

Arusha National Park
Just 32 km away from the town of Arusha is the Arusha National Park which is described as "a gem amongst parks". It consists of three spectacular features, the Momela Lakes, Mount Meru 4566m and the Ngurudoto Carter. On clear days magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from almost any part of the park. The vegetation and wildlife varies with the topography, which ranges from forest to swamp. The park is famous for its 400 spices of bird life, both migrant and resident, and black and white Colobus Monkey. Other animals frequently seen in the park are Baboon, Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo, Leopard, Hyena, Zebra and a wide range of antelope species Tarangire National Park: Short drive from Arusha Town 118 km away,

Tarangire National Park
It got it famous name from the river that threads its way through the length of the reserve. It is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular during the dry period when thousands of animals Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Elephant, Hartebeest, Buffalo migrate from the dry Masai steepe to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lion, Leopard and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is also home to 550 varieties of bird. Ngorongoro Crater: The Ngorongoro crater which is 300 sq. kms and 610m deep crater known as Africa's Eden which is situated between Arusha and the Serengeti. The floor of the Crater, a vast natural amphitheatre, teems with game - elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle share the base of this collapsed volcano with Masai tribesmen, permitted to graze their cattle on the Crater floor by day but no longer allowed to inhabit the Crater. Birds hover and dart, with thousands of flamingo casting a pink haze over the lake on the Crater floor. All seen against the majestic backdrop of the Crater walls.

Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti National Park is arguably the best know wildlife sanctuary in the world. "Serengeti" means "endless plains" in the Masaai language, and within its boundaries are more than three million large mammals. About 35 spices of plains animals can be seen here including the "big-five". This expensive savanna is the spectacular for most amazing natural show on earth when huge herds of Wildebeest, Gazelle and Zebra being there migration. during the the annual migration, the herbivores move from the serengeti plains up north to the Maasai Mara plains wacroos the Mara river where they encounter difficuties while crossing. Deluges and crocodiles are present at the time making the aspect of crossing the river more dangerous thus more exciting.
